Presentations and Workshops
For the presentation of communications and workshops, it is recommended to use the following template.
- Presentations: 15-minute talk, plus a 5-minute Q&A session.
- Workshops: Technical demonstration lasting between 30 and 45 minutes maximum.
At least one of the authors of the presentation or workshop must register for the Conference; otherwise, the work will not be accepted or presented. Certificates will be issued only to registered participants who present their work.
Presentations will be grouped in the programme according to their content under one of the following themes:
- Structure of spatial data, metadata, vocabularies, semantics, and high-value datasets.
- Management, processing, and publication of spatial data; analysis or added value of spatial data (transport networks, environment, urban planning, imagery, elevation, etc.).
- Spatial data software: development of tools, portals, web applications, and technical solutions.
- Artificial intelligence, Large Language Models, Deep Learning, etc.
- Cooperation among different stakeholders, data integration, and working methodologies.
In some cases, a presentation or workshop may fit into more than one theme.
Submission of articles for Mapping journal
Articles to be considered for publication in the journal Mapping must be submitted before 30 November in .docx or .odt format via email to jiide@cnig.es, with the subject line: [JIIDE 2025]: First author’s name_Summary/Article title_Theme number.
The presentation proposal should follow the following template: Resumen_NombreApellido_NumeroTema_es.docx.
No substantial changes will be accepted once the works have been received.
